Right Think Blog

I took my blog down the other day for a lot of reasons, one being that my writing interests are changing. I still love to keep up with what is going on in the world, but I am losing my passion to write about it for many different reasons.

I didn't think it would matter much to you all because my blog is just a microcosim in the great big world of awesome conservative blogs, but I guess it does matter to some of you because I have been getting some e-mails about it! ;0)

So, after some prodding from friends, I decided to put my blog back up and just leave it.

Who knows, I just may need a break for a while from all the depressing stuff going on. We will see. I guess if I change my mind later there will be posts up here!

Again, I apologize to you all for not forewarning you! ;0)

Obama Releasing Detainee Abuse Photos?

Obama with Chavez AFP photo.

Are we in the twilight zone? I never thought I would say this, but I would rather have Bill Clinton in office right now. Actually, compared to Obama, Bill is like a breath of fresh air.

Obama's first 100 days in office have been a complete nightmare and every day something pops up that blows my mind. This is nothing compared to the Clinton years. Obviously we had differences with the Clinton's as Democrats and Republicans always do with our opposing views, but this new administration is a totally different ball game.

The things Obama has done are horrendous both fiscally and now with foreign policy. He wants to hold hands with dictators like Chavez, yet go around apologizing for the good people of our country and the administration who protected us from another 9/11.

The latest? Not only has he released the interrogation memo's, he is going to release detainee abuse photo's. WHY? What is the purpose of this?

Whether intended or unintended, Obama has now made the CIA not real confident they are protected anymore and the ones who were involved in gathering info. under the Bush administration think that they too may be prosecuted and their covers blown even though Obama has promised he won't pursue them.

What does he think this is going to do to the security of our nation? It will only further embolden our enemies that if they attack us we will not aggressively go after them and that we are more interested in punishing those who kept us safe rather than those who are dead set on murdering us. That is the message Obama is sending to the world and to our enemies.

We are in big trouble folks.

Investigate Interrogation program or Investigate Damage Done To our National Security?

Members of congress who are calling for an investigation of the enhanced interrogation program should think hard because it might just end up that we will investigate the damage done to our national security by Mr. Obama. That is, IF we boot out the rino's and leftists in 2010.

By releasing those CIA memo's our president is giving our enemies useful tools so that they can train their people how to withstand our interrogation methods. I am sure the enemy is cheering right now as they are beginning to understand just how soft Obama and the left are.

Basically we are a weak nation right now and getting weaker due to Obama's policies. Since our enemy is emboldened even more so than they were during the Clinton years, we are primed for an attack. They tested Bush and found out he means business, they are testing Obama and are finding out he is wimpier than Clinton was.

Today Republican Rep. Peter Hoekstra, at The Wall Street Journal, calls for a complete investigation of damage done to our national security by Obama releasing the CIA memos:

George Tenet, who served as CIA director under Presidents George W. Bush and Bill Clinton, believes the enhanced interrogations program saved lives. He told CBS's "60
Minutes" in April 2007: "I know this program alone is worth more than the FBI, the Central Intelligence Agency and the National Security Agency put together have been able to tell us.

"Last week, Mr. Blair made a similar statement in an internal memo to his staff when he wrote that "[h]igh value information came from interrogations in which those methods were used and provided a deeper understanding of the al Qa'ida organization that was attacking this country.

"Yet last week Mr. Obama overruled the advice of his CIA director, Leon Panetta, and four prior CIA directors by releasing the details of the enhanced interrogation program. Former CIA director Michael Hayden
has stated clearly that declassifying the memos will make it more difficult for the CIA to defend the nation....

An honest and thorough review of the enhanced interrogation program must also assess the likely damage done to U.S. national security by Mr. Obama's decision to release the memos over the objections of Mr. Panetta and four of his predecessors. Such a review should assess what this decision communicated to our enemies, and also whether it will discourage intelligence professionals from offering their frank opinions in sensitive counterterrorist cases for fear that they will be prosecuted by a future administration.

Perhaps we need an investigation not of the enhanced interrogation program, but of what the Obama administration may be doing to endanger the security our nation has enjoyed because of interrogations and other antiterrorism measures implemented since Sept. 12, 2001.

Based on what I am seeing..Based on the 'facts', it is clear that Obama's decision to out these memos are putting the security of our nation in danger.

It is really strange that he released these memo's despite what his current CIA director advised along with past ones. There has to be something behind this. I am not a conspiracy theorist, but Obama has to know this is putting us in danger. Is he that blind by his ideology, or could he be doing this on purpose? I am not saying he is, but he has to know that this could almost ensure a future attack on our soil and kill thousands of us.

Cheney On Hannity

If you don't already know, Dick Cheney was on Hannity last night giving the first part of a two part interview. I have to admit watching Cheney on Hannity was like a breath of fresh air. For a few moments I recalled how safe we felt as Americans from countries like Russia, China, and Iran.

I am glad Cheney is speaking out. So far Cheney and Bolton are two of the strong voices out there for the safety and security of our nation. They are willing to speak the truth about the faulty Obama foreign policies and to stand up for what Bush did right in regard to safeguarding our nation.

Cheney is breaking protocol and is really speaking out against what the Obama administration is doing and at the same time he is pushing to get the truth out on how successful Bush was in protecting us. The Democrat media won't highlight those success' so someone has to do it.

This also tells me that the fumbles Obama is making by sucking up to evil dictators is quite serious and our country is in big danger. This is the second time Cheney has spoken out.

I don't think Cheney is interested in the spot light, but I think he cares deeply for this country and is willing to do whatever it takes to save it.

Via Drudge: CHENEY:

“One of the things that I find a little bit disturbing about this recent disclosure is they put out the legal memos, the memos that the CIA got from the Office of Legal Counsel, but they didn't put out the memos that showed the success of the effort. And there are reports that show specifically what we gained as a result of this activity. They have not been declassified.”

“I formally asked that they be declassified now. I haven't announced this up until now, I haven't talked about it, but I know specifically of reports that I read, that I saw that lay out what we learned through the interrogation process and what the consequences were for the country.”

“And I've now formally asked the CIA to take steps to declassify those memos so we can lay them out there and the American people have a chance to see what we obtained and what we learned and how good the intelligence was, as well as to see this debate over the legal opinions.”

I admit we have a huge hill to climb coming up in 2010 and 2012.

A lot has to be done between now and then in order to beat back the horrific government we have now. I am not only talking about the Marxists on the left but the rino's in our party as well. The socialists with the 'R' behind their names have to go too.

I am going to be blunt, but the truth is that we need to put God and His principles in the center of our party as our founding fathers did when they founded this country or as far as I am concerned we can kiss it goodbye and our country will fall apart as well. We are already witnessing the results of taking God out of the center right now.

Tax Day Tea Party~ What a Day!

Today I went to the Tax Day Tea Party at Liberty Memorial in Kansas City, Mo. I went to the Missouri Location instead of Kansas because my buddy, Dee from Conservatism With Heart was speaking there. It was thrilling to be there first of all, and also to see Dee do such a great job of speaking to around 4-5,000 people! (Most of these pics were taken by my friend Denise, the ones where there aren't credits are from my cruddy cell phone camera).

This is a picture of the crowd as it was growing. It was a sea of people!

This is my friend Dee Vantuyl speaking at the event. It was one of the best speeches. You have to give it a listen. She also has it on her blog which I linked above.

My friends Tom and Denise came. This is Tom holding my sign up for me!

This is the liberty memorial wall behind the stage and as you can see people were lined up on top of the wall! (Picture courtesy of Denise, Tom's wife.)

What can I say about this sign? I loved it! (Picture courtesy of Denise)

My friend Dee speaking. They had the crowd far away from the podium, so I couldn't get close enough for a good picture. She is the white mass in the middle! ;0)

This is Dee and I after the party! (Picture courtesy of Denise)

I love this sign. (Picture courtesy of Denise)

Great pics!

I really loved this guy! He is a vet and I told him thanks!

Here is the back of his shirt.

We had a great time. It was inspiring and the speakers were great. Of course my favorites were Dee Vantuyl, a 17 year old home schooled boy who blew me away with his FIRST TIME speech, and Chris Stigall.

Tea Party Day Today!!

I will be posting pics from the party I am attending at some point either tonight or tomorrow if I can get good ones. My camera isn't the best.

My sweet husband is concerned for my safety. He said for me to be cautious due to the left being there. Rumor has it they may conjure up fights. I am not the type to yell back and start fights anyway, so I am not concerned. Now, if they start shooting up the place or something, I will leave. I can't really even yell because of my healing laryngitis and the fact that I need to sing worship music this weekend.

I am also not angry, but deeply concerned for our country under an Obama administration, and that is why I am going.

If you haven't decided yet, GO to your nearest tea party!

Phil Spector- An Obama Fan?

Spector praises Obama at his murder trial wearing a "Barack Obama Rocks" button. I could say something, but I won't. This speaks for itself.
